The HEPOK Vineyards, planted
and nourished on fertile soil of Trebižat river valley, next to town of Ljubuski, are one of the best in Herzegovina. The region is very well known for excellent red wines, even since the Greek times.
The terroir of Ljubuski is
determined by the mountains in the North and Adriatic Sea in the South. Being on the border between Continental and Mediterranean climate creates unique conditions for excellent red wines.
The grapes are selected from the best locations, collected by hand and cooled in the vineyard, immediately after picking. Minimum of 20 days of temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel fermenters, ripening in special made oak barriques, constant analyses and regular hygienic controls are the up to date standards we apply, but the key secrets for extraordinary wines hides within the great tradition and knowledge only HEPOK winemakers have.
This special selection red wine has gorgious taste and extraordinary character, but also excellent ageing potential, one of the few wines you can enjoy any time, from now to the distant future.
Dark Ruby colour, rich fruit flavor, strong tannin structure, very dense wine with extra long after taste. Even as a young wine it has a perfect taste but in order to allow him to show its full potential you should give him a few years. Excellent for your private wine cellar.
